No, there's no other video drivers in it, and it definitely picks up the "Mobile Intel(R) 915GM/GMS,910GML Express Chipset Family" driver when importing DEVICES.PMQ. Do you see any other video drivers in the Devices.sld or the configuration? Most important is your video driver component in the configuration? so I'm assuming there're not needed, although they could be causing the problem. HKLM,"SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon\Notify\igfxcui"

Delete the CUI registry entry which registers for winlogon events Delete old style cui keys which are device dependent It then goes on to successfully install a section called "NO_DRV.Interfaces" from 915M.INF, which doesn't sound good. INF file, which I presume is the problem, but I have no idea what's causing it. In SETUPAPI.LOG there's an "Error 87: The parameter is incorrect" report near the reference to the. The FBA doesn't complain, but the subsequent boot hasn't picked up the display driver. The import of DEVICES.SLD was successful, with no relevant files missing (just "Storage" and the RealTek AC97 stuff).Įverything fine, no errors, just some unreleased component warnings. I noticed that in each component entry, the file igfxnt5.cat had directory %66000%, which I changed to %17% as per the help file instruction. However, "Import session completed sucessfully." Igxp32.inf: needs to be processed by the user. Lots of "An error occured when trying to add a registry resource" errors. Lots of "More than one component has the same Concordance ID" messages. I _know_ the drivers I have work, because they work on a normal XP Pro install on the board.

Which is a shame, as it sounds like exactly what I need ) (incidentally, the topic "How to Componentize a Device Driver" at does not appear to have any steps written for it, just the titles. So I'm trying to make my own display driver component, but it's just not picking them on the board. Looking at the package, the drivers in it were older than the drivers I had from the board manufacturer, and is down at the moment, so I can't see if there's another. Initially I found a package for the graphics device at, but that just hung the first boot after the FBA had run at the point where the res was supposed to change. They all work fine, but I want to add in the correct display driver for the board, so I can get more than 604x480 out of it, and use DirectX. I'm following the tutorials from MDSN Online ( ) with the trial of XPE Standard.
